Enigma Operational Mechanics
Enigma combines direct movement, room-based puzzle states, persistent sector ownership, and research systems that carry progression between expeditions.
Room Structure
Start, Reward, and Finish Rooms
Every sector includes a start room, finish room, and intermediate rooms. Layout and door connectivity are generated from the seed.
In-Room Interaction
Most interactions happen directly on the stage. Console overlays appear only when precision puzzle input is needed.
Puzzle Systems
Stage Puzzles
Spatial mechanics like pressure plates, route checks, and activation zones are solved directly inside the room.
Overlay Puzzles
Logic, memory, and timing variants open in the room console and return results to the shared room state.
Sector Lifecycle
Discovery and Ownership
Sector discovery is tied to real completion. Ownership can transfer later through exchange actions without rewriting the original discovery history.
Listing, Analysis, and Locks
Owned sectors can be listed on the exchange or assigned to analysis for daily MN. Sectors under analysis are lock-protected and cannot be sold or recycled until lock conditions expire.
Progression and Power
MN and Field-Tool Flow
Run outcomes, daily systems, and research interactions update your MN balance and field-tool availability.
Governance Weighting
Council power is based on MN spent and a capped multiplier model that factors analyzed sectors and participation history.
